IDM is by far the best. Does HTTPS logins first time, properly, everytime.

jDownloader is also good when getting files from filesharing sites (does captchas automatically, can unrar files and build fileparts from multiple download sites into one, all simultaniously), or ripping youtube streams (allows you to choose video or just audio)

DownThemAll!, a Firefox extension, so not dependent on platform!.

Easy Youtube Video Downloader for, uhm, Youtube videos, which adds a button to make download your choice of format (from what's available) easy. In conjunction with Flashblock, you don't waste bandwidth when the video streams as well as been downloaded by the Downloader.

I bought GetRight 7 years ago and used it until last year when I stopped using Windows.

I've always used Getright, for many years now.

The only thing that bugs me is that it doesn't "catch" downloads automatically in Chrome, only in IE

Downloadthemall for firefox, only thing is it didnt have is a scheduler, but theres a 3rd party add on that gives it that functionality
Some times the internet is so slow, it would be faster to just fly to Google's headquarters and ask them this $h1t in person.!

    Default No download manager

I suppose one of the options on the poll should be - No download manager.

The one that's made me most happy is Flashget. It's fast and handles large download queues well.

    Works with any browser too

It doesn't say that, it says Windows died in 2006.
