I WISH I could play again.
Just so many big issues with iBust in Pretoria right now that I don't get to anything else.

my IS ADSL down at the moment, very strange, will reboot
the Cisco Router tomorrow morning as it was working part
    way today
Blade from Centurion grabbed ext 229 and it worked ok from his
SAIX ADSL line, kept on timing out from SAIX diginet to IS DSL line
    and thus had to re-connect
My office ext on our PBX will be 93802 if you have Xlite Softphone working to the
    AAH VoIP server

    Default Asterisk OK?

Is your Asterisk OK at the moment? Ping seems OK.

Connecting to Panel gives all extensions flashing red/green and frequent screen refreshes. Wasn't like this with previous release.

    Default ISDN with asterisk

Uhm.. you can get ISDN up and running for about 350 bucks. Just buy a cheap Duxbury ISDN (HSF Chipset) PCI modem card, and slot it in. Load the bri-stuff drivers and you're off. I've been running production systems with this setup in S.A. for a year now with no problems.

My my that is quite a solution depends on how many channels you wan to run.
1 x Duxbury PCI ISDN modem = 2 channels, cetainly alot cheaper than a Digium ISDN card. Will give it a try

Can you get Asterisk running with just one analogue line for testing purposes?

What sort of additional hardware is required? Internal modem or will an external one do the trick?

    Thanks

    Cheers

Purchased a Digium TDM400P with one FXO module (R1015) that allows
you to connect to your analog Telkom line or PBX.

This is an OEM version of the Digium X100P card retails for $35

According to SolarSpace he used a Duxbury PCI ISDN modem with the BRI interface drivers loaded R350

Hi Kilos, Blade and others. Will talk again in 2006. SIP connections work great but I am battling with making my Telkom incoming line (same FXO module on TDM400P as kilos) 'hang up' after a call. Will post my problem more precisely next year. I suspect it could be to do with local country telco settings which are different from the Yanks..

Thanks 8321 I have the same problem as it holds the call for a few seconds, when u drop the call and then one when you try to call the FXO port, it is busy.

Found some Wildcard X100P OEM version on the Net bought 3 for a test. Certainly cheaper than the Digium (R1015) for testing versus R300.

I suppose the Quality will be noticeable. One FXO port per PCI slot
Thanks Blade, Ambo & 8321 your feedback have been greatly appreciated.
