    Angry Telkom robbing me HELP!!!!!!

    Hey Guys

I applied for a 4 Meg line two months ago which Telkom says they have activated, but on my side it is showing 384, not even 512 or 1mb at least but 384. What makes matters worse is that they are charging me for 4MB evry month. When I call them they always tell me its done and they see 4mb on their side and they will send me a techi bla bla bla bla but at the end of the day it still shows 384. What frustrates me the most is their call center bcoz I called that 0800 number then they send me to that 5 digit number which in turn send me back to the 0800 number then they send me to that 5 digit number which in turn send me back to the 0800.

Has anyone experienced something like this?

Perhaps you neighbor is getting his 384 line upgraded free to a 4Meg line?

Wish I knew how to help, sorry.

0800 375 375 is a good place to start, log tickets, get reference numbers, take names.

    Then!

Turn off your router and turn it back on and let it resync and see what happens, take screenshots and post them here so we can see details.

There is a Telkom guy here who can help you, but he'll make contact with you in due course, but start a fight and do it properly and then you'll get help.

0800375 375 tells me to call 10219 and 10219 tells me to call 0800375 375. I have logged multiple calls and have ref numbers.

Uhm, have you checked with your ISP if THEY have upgraded you to a 4mb account? We have a 4mb line, capable of 10 and sync's at 10 but the speed is only 512 as thats our ISP account

No its not my ISP, when I call Telkom Front Office they see 4MB on their system and when I call Back Office they see 384MB on their system. And Front Office tell me they dont have access to Back Office systems to see what they see and vise verse.
