South Korea's Samsung Electronics Co. says it sued Apple Inc. for patent rights violations, only days after Apple sued Samsung for the same reason.

Doesn't Samsung make a lot of the components of Apple products?
I believe that Apple is Samsung's second largest customer, I'm sure I read it somewhere.

I doubt Samsung will really hurt that much if Apple boycotts them. Samsung is massive on their own - I have way more Samsung products in my home than Apple, and so do you: even if you don't own anything with the samsung logo on the exterior, many other manufacturers like Philips use Samsung components

It does make sense esp if you see that they always target the top performer at that time, Motorola and HTC was sued when their devices was the top news story in US
