Ok, I know this is supposed to be in the Classifieds section, just figured more network guys would notice it here. :)

I'm looking for a Cisco router and switch to use for a lab setup. Anyone have something cheap? ;)
 
If u know someone who can buy at Mecer/ Mustek - they have a cisco clearance sale on until the 30/06

Use gns3 or packet tracer to save u some cash. Alternatively, I will drop u a link tomorrow to a place selling refurbished lab kits for very decent prices

I've been using GNS3 and Packet Tracer so far, but looking for some proper equipment as well. It's just different working on the real equipment instead of sims. ;)

Please let me know about those refurbished kits.

see my post above, the links are there. The guy sells on ebay etc, but very reliable rating. U can get some nice kits

As cheap as possible. ;) Doing CCNP, so would like to get a layer 3 switch, which are normally very expensive. Hopefully someone have something that's just gathering dust and they don't need it anymore. :)

Cisco Switch

Dude, are you still lookin 4 a switch? I'm selling a brand new, in box, Cisco 3560 V2, 48 TS. Worth R30k, but will clear it for R4500. Getting rid of some stock b4 I hit the UK

IOS on linux. its all you will ever need.
Can build a monster lab on a relatively simple machine with loads of ram

Apologies, I should have said ios on Unix..or Iou. U can google the sucker, but I will put links up when I get to a pc and off this BB. It is illegal t and not freely available for download hough...just saying

For fun I will try this out at the office on monday, could be quite useful to me to test things before I put it on the live environment.
