Obviously you can't discuss actual company financials in either private or in public.

    BUT

would you be able to give us an indication of how many trendnet units(lump all together) you guys sell in month.

need not be accurate. just an indication to see how popular your products are ( in that range not other makes)

For that you need to speak to the General Manager regarding that Sir, Unfortunately while trying to assist and defend our brand, Suggs, was banned.

You will need to PM him for that please as I do not have access to history on the system

Geesh sounds like hate speach. And since when does personal preference make you right Venomous? Just because you dislike a product doesnt make you right. Have you ever factored in human error? Trendnet is not bad. And with ANY product there is always going to be a few bad mishaps. And since this is a thread on how "bad" trendnet is there is going to be people agreeing with you. But that said I am sure there are problems with Trendnet but are they or are they not trying to fix and help and all you can do is complain and threaten to RAS? LOL AT YOU!

    fair enough,

would you say it's a popular brand? (of the various brands your company sells)

hmm, i wonder what got him banned... the reason why I called you a clone is that there's suddenly a few(more than 2) new logins trying to protect the same brand

    Hi folks

We discussed this thread with the commentators, and will soon confirm the company reps. It may be of value for them to comment

    Firstly read the whole thread....

There are multiple new posters defending the same brand. People were already saying clone...
All I did was ask questions.

I never said I would RAS for helping. I did say I would RAS for advertising. There's a difference.

I am entitled to ask questions to get clarification.
He/She is entitled to help their customers resolve the problems originating from their brand...

In our Networking Division(our company is renowned for being the TOP IBM Distributor in South Africa), I would say that it is Popular, but for me, there is always room for improvement. TRENDnet doesn't only offer Wireless products and Switches etc. It has quite a variety of products and 85% of their products are sold in the South African market.

I understand why he was banned, and me being called a clone, But could you guys please unban Suggs so that he could at least give some input in here. Trust me, we are here to help, there will be no advertising going forward

    Thanks

Read the whole thread. It just seems that you are stuck on a particular product being bad when let’s face it all products have their problems. What counts is that the Vendor fixes the problems. And more over people that post and are willing to contribute there CONSTRUCTIVE criticism to bettering the product would be more proactive and would lead to a happy consumer rather than the above going backwards and forwards. If you have a problem speak to someone about fixing it. And if they are offering to help all the better. I hate bad service and I think that companies that want to have a happy customer should be on these sites checking to see if there end users are happy like the "CLONES" that you mentioned are doing. They have my vote.

TrandNet, Netgear, D-Link = Consumer networking
Rucus, Cisco, Nokia = Enterprise networking

Linksys = consumer networking but now having coffee in the enterprise lounge (after Cisco acquired the company).

I work for a PC store (won't say which one) that stocks TrendNET products.

When we first received the stock, we were all somewhat wary of it but went ahead and sold some units. The amount of returns we had on those products was just incredible. From routers not functioning correctly to people who actually phoned them for support and being told that they were NOT going to update firmware on their products told me all I need to know about this company. Unfortunately it isn't my decision to carry the stock but I damn well won't sell it. I don't believe in lumping customers with useless pieces of plastic. I seriously question the ethics of companies that churn out such crap and then still have the audacity to not support it. This stuff would be better if it was melted down and molded to provide shelter for the poor in these winter months!

And then I just lol @ all Beeeeeeezo PRETENDING like he isn't a sales rep for this junk. Claiming miracles and "beefing" it up, that just alienated people further than anything else. Thanks, I think I shall show this thread to people in power in my company to get rid of some dead weight.
