    Default DSTV..goes black, no sound WTF !

    Has anyone else experianced this. DSTV suddely goes black with no sound. You can still do a search on channel one etc but you have to reboot to get the picture back...or is it just me lnb on the blitz?

    when we still had dstv it happened a whole lot... havent had for ages tho, for more than a year or so... no loss really

    maybe you have the same old decoder we had? either way, i just thought it was normal!

    yip getting the exact same error

    EDIT: but our decoder aint that old its a dual view and also most of these problems with dstv started with the introduction of the PVR

    We have had our decoder since 1999 and this started happening to us at about the beginning of December.

    I was housesitting in december the same house I housesat last december, and yes, the DSTV decoder froze at least 4 times, which is 4 times more than december 2004.

    Lol as sucky DSTV
    MTN has very poor customer service and PR skills: MTN doesn't take fraud cases seriously
