Don't want to be a douche, but midnight or 00h00 is always the beginning of a day. A day ends on 23:59:59 and the next one starts on 00:00:00, so the maintenance was indeed performed on the 9th.

So to be safe I now only have 4 hours to use a product which is advertised as 6 hours!

Wow, this is really bad today.
This is running on the WA network..... it's epic at night, and useless at day.
I would have done speedtest.net but it doesn't even load.

    Hey guys,

For the peeps having issues, have you contacted our ADSL team to have things tested out and escalated where possible? Having sub-par accounts isn't the way our network is meant to run!

Terrible at the moment, can't stream, struggles to load this site.

Edit: and we're back, but it's up and down.

Trying a little STO but no go, latency is absolutely horrible. Been that way last two nights actually. It's understandable that it's this way during the day since these accounts probably get pretty low priority, but during the evening? That's a bit much, surely?

*So bad, in fact, that I'm forced to use my Afrihost backup account - which works smoothly day and night, by the way.

Yeah apparently something's wonky tonight. Games timing out, speeds crappy ;-)

My account was fine last night, streaming and gaming on US and EU servers.

Noticed the line was sluggish and did a tracert to google.

    Getting 211ms on wbrs-csw1-vl-140.wa.co.za [41.185.1.5], hop #5.

All the remaining hops are normal 2-digits.

    Anyone else seeing this?

    Switched to Afrihost account:

1Mbps of my bandwidth is currently going to a Skype video call, so all's fine here.

    Tried rebooting router?

Doesn't the difference between the WA & Afrihost speeds make it obvious to where the fault is?

    Didn't see your edit, sorry.

I was originally just hoping that rebooting your router would "reset" things WA-side.

    Good luck
