I have a requirement to connect two routers wirelessly. I have done this successfully using Tekom's 400G Billion Router (ADSL) and the Netgear MBRN3000 (3G) router.
I have bought the Cell-C ZTE MF668 3G card which is not supported by the Netgear Router. Based on a suggestion I found on mybroadband I bought the TP-Link TL-MR3420 router which supports and ZTE card and I am able to connect to the 3G network through it.
What I am not able to do is to connect the Billion Router nor the Netgear Router to the TP-Link router via WDS. I have tried everything short of standing on my head. Currently the TP-Link Router shows the WDS connection has a status of "RUN" which I understand means everything is A-OK, but I cannot connect to it / through it from the Netgear Router.
Uniterm Direct (www.dbg.co.za) are less than obliging in helping me resolve this so I am turning to the community for some assistance. Has anyone managed to get this right or do you have some ideas/suggestions.
