Hello everyone, my sister has just relocated from uk back to South Africa (Randburg). She is wanting to sell her bb torch 9860 for R5000. I am in Uk, but you can email quickly if you are interested in buying it. She is only selling it because she has about three bb's, mostly for security reasons, trust me the BB torch 9860 works in SA! Its unlocked to any network. My email address is hbez67@googlemail.com. She has just started advertising it today on fb, so I think it would go fast!! My name is Henriette. Good phone, but personally I am a Samsung Galaxy S II fan all the way!!
Does anyone have an idea when the Blackberry Torch 9860 will be released by vodacom??????? PLEASE! I can upgrade now and want this phone!! =D

OK since this is a thread dedicated to BB Torch, do you guys think I should go for the Torch any day over other BBs? I am upgrading next month and I would really love a BB
I'm also wanting on the 9860 as I have the Storm2 at the moment and just LOVE the phone.
When I saw that there will be another full touch screen phone I was super stoked!!
Now the question is will it ever come to SA.
I'm now sitting between getting the 9810 or the 9860 from a friend in Dubai....
My wife has had 2 Torch 9800 and she was very happy with them with no problems.
no news about 9860 from last 6 months..but i am aware with BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900.And when something problem occurs and we want something extra BlackBerry Accessories and features, that time we will purchase easily from online shopping. So many sites are available for that..But you have to just fine genuinely from your scope.
Reviving an old thread here. Has anyone else used the 9860 lately? How reliable is the phone and is the user experience good? They're going quite cheap now and I was thinking of getting one for my wife. She got too used to using touchscreen phones and just can't get used to the 9360. The 9810 and 9900 are out of my budget at the moment.
Hi. I have been using a 9860 since Christmas 2011 (received it as a present). I am very happy with it as I prefer touch screen to physical keypad. It is physically bigger than the recently released 9830 and faster too. Mine was imported, so no warranty here, but works fine on the Vodacom network. As it is an import, i don't mind running leaked versions of the OS on it. Currently running 7.1.0.569.
I got my upgrade in Feb and as far as I know Torches are still around.
