Afrihost Problems.
We are having issues with afrihost and it seems to have gotten worse in the last few months, i am wondering if anyone else has noticed that they just dont give the same service they used to ?
we run the www.roseza.co.za project. Our scripts stopped working yesterday morning, infact all communication between the website and our server boxes just stopped working. I investigated and found that the scripts work fine on a seperate box and discovered that the website doesnt even ping any of our server boxes. Multiple web dev's have verified that indeed our scripts arent at fault.
I have since sent Afrihost almost a dozen emails, of which i have had very few replies and most of them just telling me that everything is fine their side. I started getting a little rude this morning after having suffered 24 hours of downtime and no answers and finaly in one email, I was told the matter would be forwarded to the admin to investigate. that was this morning, i have since sent a few more emails and had no reply other than the automated messages. some guys on our team have also emailed and received no replies.
Tomorrow morning will be 48 hours downtime and we will enter the third day where none of our scripts on the website is working, and we have no explanation from afrihost, i dont even know if they have found a problem or if it is being fixed at all.
All i know is that our game boxes are live players can log in and play, but new players cant register new accounts, current players cant log into their web accounts, no one can view server status, use item mall or view any info at all and it has been very frustrating on our players and puts us in bad light because this all reflects back on us.
anyone else had any of this awful service from them ? I have 5 domains registered through afrihost, i have already canceled 2, and i am close to canceling the rest as well...
