By speaking his mind over the airwaves. Saying stuff that everyone thought but were too scared to say. He knew he was stuffed anyway, so added profanity to his monologue. Quite clever (I thought) as a means to garner extra attention and stifle any attempts at suppressing his truth. The broadcast authority had to act publicly and he got the shock! horror! petulant child! attention for his cause. And you played into his hands.

No, his views are as idiotic as his delivery of them was.

In his blog he talks about how he was training to complete a 30km ocean swim so that he can swim to an isolated island called North Sentinel Island inhabited by an ancient jungle people called the Sentinelese. However his chain smoking habit and love of fast food was hampering his training.
