If that was the case RIM would have been all over the media with such a convenient excuse. That they are so quiet tells me that they are responsible themselves.

Sheeet happens?!! It seriously blows my mind everytime how people cry and whine like little 4 year olds when something like this happens.
From a business perspective, yes I understand. There will be huge delays etc. People will have to make other plans.
But to honestly just expect and Demand services to run 365 days a year and be so intolerant when things go haywire, completely gets me. It seems we have turned into such an impatient bunch of gits.
The worse has to be some of my friends moaning how they can't bbm on Facebook. Like they are so important!

What ever happened to taking a walk or dare I say read a fcking BOOK?!

My heart goes out to ALL call-centres around the world getting naaaied up the rear by end-users. It really does.
    Keep strong brothers!!!

Waiting for the first report on notalwaysright.com to surface...
Christ-mass is NOT for Christians. Jeremiah 10.
Is the 10 Commandments for Christians?

Saturday is the Seventh day, Sunday is the first day.

I just had dinner with my sister and her husband said he has had major issues, his entire business is run via blackberry.

The techs cannot see what machine has issues, they cannot record their stuff. Been a major blow for them.

A Canadian company with world-class engineers/techies struggles for three days to sort out a problem. If this happened in SA what would have been the typical reaction?

BlackBerry phones are now so cool that RIM's network froze.

Just goes to show that every business MUST have a fallback plan.

Nope, I dont think that RIM will like to be known as a company who was hacked. They are supposed to have the most secure communication device in the world.

I also think they were hacked.
