First of all, welcome. And how can you be counting down the date for something you can't remember? lol, anyway, it's being released on the 28th of October, as for the time; I don't know because I didn't pre-order my copy from BT games.

So what's the use of buying the bloody game then if I need to download 12GB's ?

He mentions an Origin purchase, which means its a digital copy, which means its downloaded. 12GBs, yea man, did you expect the game to be 3GB? 2005 called, they want their install size back!

My pre-load is done. It was 11.4gb. I noticed that the game downloaded with an Update/Patch folder which has some patch files in it (322mb) so that may be the day 1 patch. I wonder if the people who bought the disc version will have to download that 322mb patch after install. Also - if that is not the day 1 patch, then there might be additional downloads on top of that 322mb for the disc version.

So what do you guys think og the game? I play it on xbox and there are definitley alot of issues they need to sort out. The most irritating thing for me is playing the same map over and over. You play metro, then you go to Caspain border, back to metro, than another map and then it goes back to metro again ! It drives me crazy! I am also experiencing loads of lag at times, and so are most of my xbox friends.

Maybe its just me , but the graphics on some stages look better than others. The sound is amazing in this game. Overall, it's an amazing game and once they sort out the glitches it will be even better

Loaded the HD patch and the game looks great and plays great as well. Didn't even realise I was playing on international servers.

Played Friday night and never played a map more than twice (rush maps - attacking and then defending). Maps never repeated itself the whole evening. Played a few hours on Saturday and also no map repeated it self.

Yeah I do realise that, but its difficult to get in a game with all your friends/party at once.

Check the region settings. I had the same problem, I then included Australia, Asia and East US to browse for servers.

ja same here... everytime i play, i play a diffrent map... the game is awesome and there are still a lot of stuff they have to fix, but overall its nice... i even upgraded to a 1MB line just to play this baby what i dont like so much is the huge maps for only 24 players...most of the times when all the vechles have been taken you have to run like half an hour to geet to the action, only to be killed by a sniper...fail... but anyway, i want to know if or when we will be getting local servers for the xbox???? it sucks to play against overseas players who are at level 40 already...after 2 days...thats just insane....

Thanks! Will try that out tonight. This game is so addictive. Played for hours last night, and now I have to suffer the consequences. Haha.

On the Xbox 360, how is the points allocated when flying the fighter jets? Reason I ask is over the weekend I've shot down two planes (one kill, the other time the guy ejected, but it did show jet disabled 100 points), but I got no points towards the fighter jet stats. This was never a problem before.
