    I also ordered a Note from the yesterday, so I'm also impatient for the couriers to call.... damn they are taking their own time ....

    Wanted to order mine today but there is a stuff up on my account. I chose to not open a Gold account when I applied last month now there is a three month waiting period to upgrade.

    Lady didn't mention it on the phone, so I'm fuming.

    Strange! I upgraded from Gold to Platinum 3 months ago and it took a click on the internet banking portal and then a 5min call from them to complete the change!!

    I'm going to do the same to my Vodacom contract in August/September. If the S3/HOX is not offered by FNB at that stage, I'll go for the S2 and port my number to one of those cheap Cell C contracts.

    And then when my 3G contract expires in October, hello adsl bye bye Vodacom.

    Look on the bright side, give's ou some time to think. By then you may have changed your mind or a better offer may present itself...

    Well I sold my Desire a month ago and I'm using a Galaxy P1000 as a phone right now. Three months will kill me...

    Ok, so I received an SMS (11h54)saying that my smartphone has been ordered, and that due to high demand, delivery is taking longer than they would like... Also said courier will contact me to arrange delivery... Now I heard from them this morning that their courier is BrightPoint, anyone have issues with them...?

    EDIT: As I was typing this reply, they called me to confirm my address(12h20)..... They said 2-5 working days. But reading on the net, I should take that with a pinch of salt..... Anyway, looks good for now, most probably early next week sometime....

    I have received no word from FNB or couriers since ordering through internet banking yesterday.

    @memphis32: When did you order and through which channel?

    I applied through online banking, last week Thursday if I recall correctly. Monday afternoon they called me to confirm the order...

    Damn, I wish the delivery was quicker - don't know how I am going to make it through this weekend while waiting for my device to arrive!

    Oh well... will have to shop for some add-on's from Calamari.com to get me to delivery day....

    Just took delivery of my Note...The package is still on my desk here... I'm going through all the brochures and stuff that came in the package....

    Order confirmed on Monday, got the sms to say it's been ordered, and the call from BrightPoint to confirm address on Wednesday, and delivered on Friday(today) at 08h00 sharp.... I've got too much work to play with the phone, but as long as I have it....
