Same here. VB Gold 1mbps with multiple HTTP and NNTP connections been running at 30 KB/s since early this afternoon. Opening websites take forever. Hope it comes right soon.

Phew, glad my DSL-H is going like a boeing, those VB "websites and timeout" errors just got too much for me to bear, DSL-H has been very good to me
And thats the bottom line, cause StoneCold said so...

One thing that is becoming a problem for me are game updates with dsl-h. Today again just like the previous two weeks if I update Rift it runs at 5kb/s.
If I switch to my free 1gb afrhost account it runs at 430kb/s. Problem is this is what I use for gaming so now I am using it up on updates. anyone else have this problem?

Have you asked for a backbone change?
I am finding IS to be particularly good this month.

No, haven't asked - NNTP flies on DSL-H and I am very happy about that as that is what I use most. My previous experiences on IS was not too great. Would get good speed for maybe a week and then things will die down. Is it still that way?

I'm on the mynetwork.co.za backbone. The internet DOES NOT WORK in the day! Unable to complete a netflorist order even!!!

Thanks for the info Froot. Maybe I should consider moving to IS. Might drop Keoma a mail and see what he can do for me.

That's on your lite account, right? If so, chances are you're in the top20% zone.

Have you emailed MrBeep to find out?

No, this is on the Gold package. In fact, my uncapped lite account at home gives far less problems..

VB seems to be back to normal. Can load websites up at least.
