I'm on DSL-H. Torrents are also flying. Haven't checked steam though.

Yea the latency is WoW is unplayable use to get about 200ms, now its not under 1000ms. Sees like, have to wait till they get the repairs done. The only thing working is browsing, rest is very slow

My 4mbs Gold Account: International speed test

Test conducted on Fri Jun 29 2012 22:01:49 GMT+0200 (South Africa Standard Time)

Download Speed: 86 kbps (10.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 331 kbps (41.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
    Latency: 285 ms

So pretty much useless for anything other than reading text

    Hey Friends,

We now have Seacom based backup accounts available that our clients can use during the outage.

To claim yours, please email admin@openweb.co.za with your ADSL username. The accounts will be provided at no extra cost during the outage.

    Hey Friends,

You should have received your Seacom backup accounts. We will be keeping the thread updated regarding the Seacom cable repairs. The ship is on route to restore the cable.

Hi Stone, You have to email them and ask for the account. It runs beautifully. Openweb FTW!
