Thread: Best option for a student

Default Best option for a student

    Hi all,

I'm not really clued up with internet stuff, hence my post, but any info anyone has will be really helpful to me.
I am currently a student and using a dial-up connection is just to slow to download large text files etc.
    So these ae my criteria:
-budget of R300 p/month (yep, students eh?)
-wireless if possible but not essential
-as big and as fast as possible

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks very much!

Depends on what you want to do and how much your usage will be.
If it is just for casual surfing and e-mail use your phone's gprs or 3g and perhaps get one of the bundles mtn or vodacom has.

    Adsl 192k - R270
    Cybersmart 3GB - R100
    Total - R370

R70 over your budget though. Only thing cheaper is pay as you go adsl but you will get overcharged and works out more exp.
When have you demonstrated leadership skills?
