I phoned lighting warehouse. They have 20W dimmable energy savers for R90. Think I'll stick with my incandescents.

I've also replaced 12 of my downlights with the Eurolux dimmable energy saver downlights about two years ago, 4 of them already died. About a month ago I've relaced all of them with LED downlights.

You can get really expensive LED lights of all shapes and sizes from:
    www.electroniclights.co.za OR www.lightsavers.co.za

If you are looking for LED downlights, I'll recomment the one's from Rabtron, they have diffuser lenses, which gives you 45° of light output instead of the usually narrow focused beams of most of the other brands. They are also cheap and the more you buy the cheaper they are. Shipping is also cheap if you are not close to Vereeniging:

Then you also get the UnionTech SA lamps, different shapes and sizes from them directly (http://www.uniontechsa.co.za/), but they are expensive and you have to arrange your own courier to collect from them. Build It and the Agrimark group also sell the Uniontech lamps for a lot less.

I suffer from CDO, it's like OCD, but in the correct alphabetical order.

Agree with Chris. My LEDs dim perfectly, and I've yet to have one burn out after 3+ years.
