There have been only 95 ODIs on record where 2 players have scored centuries. Out of those, 18 have been lost and 77 won. So about a 20% chance to lose if you score two centuries.

He took a chance, SA reciprocated & picked him but he never looked more than just a little useful with bat and ball. That's international sport, it's a cruel game, you only get a few chances (unless you're a potential phenom) and if you don't take it, that's it. People move on quite quickly. Just ask Johan Louw, Jon Kent, Adam Bacher, H.D. Ackerman, et al. It sucks but broken eggs and omelets hey.
Talking about Kolpak comebacks, Jacques "Pretty 30" Rudolf has looked a bit better than he did last time, though at least this time he wasn't completely immobilised by spin like when Ashley Giles weaved him into a whirl. He should take note of what happened to McClaren, New Zealand will be an important series for him.
