No T20's and a 3 test series.
Interesting choice...

I'm a huge Malinga fan!
Ill have to miss most of the series though![]()
Yeah, that was me. Mistaken it with the next country T20's.
SA will crush them in the Tests (3-0) and win the ODI's (3-1, with a wash out).
Sri Lanka are weak compared to Australia.

Loving the fact that we're playing the tests first. It gives us some momentum, but worrying that we still don't do home warm-up matches - why is that?
Pity that the new years test is pretty much entirely during the week.

Should be an easier series and honestly if the pitches are anything like they were in the Aus series we have to look to win the tests 3-0 and ODIs 4-1 (if no ran outs occur). SL haven't been in the best or most consistent form so anything less and we will be stagnating in mediocrity.
Anyone else find it a bit strange that we have a 3 week break before SL series and there isn't even one practice match scheduled for us? Really just get the SA A side or something to practice against, will do the guys good just to fine tune their skills.
Kind of glad that they left out the T20s to have a proper ODI series and at least a half test series. T20s are fun and all but they should be limited especially when there are time constraints and other forms suffer. Would have made more sense playing one T20 vs Aus and ending the series earlier and then playing one t20 against SL.
Don't know about that, sometimes even the most experienced batsman struggle to play him especially when he gets his yorkers right. He will be influential as a factor for them but hopefully we can keep our calm.
