Motherboard and processor on R3000-00 budget?

i am looking to upgrade my wifes pc. She is currently running a really crappy motherboard and processor with a not to bad Raedon 5770 hd video card. I have a R3000-00 budget to spend on motherboard and processor. Any ideas on what i can get.
