I had similar issues with my aunt's Telkom DuoPlus 300WR ADSL modem, where the wireless constantly dropped when it was on ch6.
I then used WiFi Analyzer (Android app) to determine which channels are open and then used like 2 or 11 (can't remember which) and ever since the WiFi was reasonably stable again.

Hey all - can someone please post a link for firmware 1.65 update. My current version is AF_1.60_R01.

Can't seem to get the previously posted ftp address to work (ftp://ftp.d-link.co.za/dsl2750u/Firm...F_1.65_LATEST/)

Sooo hoping this resolves my issue, have the exact same issue and when it DC's I have to reset the router actually, been having trouble for months, even made telkom replace my line totally, lol.

Still had issues, just updated my router with this firmware today so holding thumbs, however I can't seem to login to router now o.O
Keeps telling me wrong password, etc.

That's rather odd. My router for some odd reason went to a previous state and even changed from the 10.0.0.2 IP to D-Link traditional 192.168.1.1 the other day. So updated the firmware again and changed the router IP back. All along though, the U/P has remained "admin" all in lowercase.

Oh, that's just the normal thing when D-Link checks in on your router and doing the normal big brother thing.

Then again, I did do some testing for D-Link SA on their latest firmware so you never know hey...

can you upgrade a Telkom branded one to the latest firmware? because my wireless keeps dropping and it's starting to get annoying, especially with the modem RIGHT THERE and changing the channels only helps temporarily

    D-Link recommends you contact Telkom.
    ftp://ftp.d-link.co.za/dsl2750u/Firmware/Retail%20Version/!!!!!!!!!!READFIRSTPLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!/If%20your%20unit%20has%20any%20Telkom%20branding%2 0on%20it.pdf
However I do not see a reason as to why you cannot do an upgrade to the latest firmware as they are basically the same thing just with 1 or 2 small changes.

The officially supported firmware is at Tellumat's website. I've tried both this one and the one from D-Link's website and seems like the D-Link one causes less drops. Also changed the channel, but still get drops

    Hello all

Got one of these from Telkom the other day, I have a problem with it too, but it doesn't drop connection ( i think), basically i noticed today when i was playing online games ( first time with this router) all is fine lower latency bf3 get 9ms ping, blacklight 230ms ping, but after an hour or so both games ping skyrocket like a sonic jet to 800ms for about 2 minutes then come down.
    Any solutions?

I dropped my D-Link after it dropped my wi-fi connection one time to many ;0) - dropped it off at the Telkom shop and picked up a Netgear.
