Lol subyota is not offensive at all. It's funny and creative, unlike calling someone stupid.

Yeah... I never compared them, I just had this mental image of the 350z.

That subyota makes the 350z look a lot less exotic.

Fazda, maintenance plan on these? Availability? Service costs outside of maintenance plan? Warranty duration? Have a list of extras?
Most importantly, can I have one at a discount? :P

The Carbuyer review reckoned the driving position is perfect, equipment is generous, handling is good, driving is engaging, speed is lacking, rear seats are pointless, and overall is a rather good car. Wouldn't mind one of these...

As I said earlier - all Toyotas come with a Service Plan as standard, with an option to upgrade to a MP - this will probably be the same, unless they want to match the BRZ, in which case it will have a MP as standard.

No need for servicing to be any more expensive than any other Toyota - no funnies in the car at all. Warranty should be standard Japanese, which is 3 years/100 000. Extras vary from model to model.

Discount??? You must be bloody joking!!

Man, i was thinking I should wait a year or two for one of these but I'm getting more tempted by the day... I wonder what it would be like as a daily driver? Would need to sort a test drive to find out, I suppose.

I think it's silly to leave features such as cruise control and climate control out of the basic spec considering that it's standard spec on a lot of vehicles now days.
But then again that's Toyota for you and even my wife is still miffed that her RunX doesn't have electric windows because it was on optional extra while just about every South Korean runabout has that and a lot more standard.
Looks like a nice vehicle though and I wouldn't mind getting one except for the price tag (I just can't validate spending more than R200K on any vehicle).
