So the number 1 Test team lost 4 Test matches in a row. This ICC test mace seem like a poisoned chalice, India had it and lost plenty matches, we didn't last long after been there as well. At least we did not lose many matches, in fact we hardly lose a series these days.

Nah it's just a case of India and England being pathetic away from away, always has been the case. They piled on the points when they played at home to get to number 1.

If England loses to Sri Lanka 2-0 in the tests, we will be the number one ranked side going into England. Even if England whitewash west Indies after the Sri Lanka series, they won't gain sufficient points to leap frog us!

In both the tests and ODIs we seem to be playing a lot less games than the other top teams.
