You can pay for petrol at any petrol station as long as they have a debit card facility (most stations do). Only experienced issues with Caltex as there seem to be an issue with the new cards and their debit/credit card facility.

yes i payed for petrol i go inside, and pay inside at till points where you buy food etc , not sure if machines they bring to you are on the same system.

I've had issues at three petrol stations, all different companies. But this is over the four years I've used my Capitec card.

Sent Capitec a email again about it. urg.

Got the Secure Code SMS - gotta get it activated and see how it rolls.

As per the little form they gave me to register online :

1. During MasterCard SecureCode registration, an activation code will be sund to your cellphone by SMS.

I just tried activating with my code that I was sms'd - get stopped on 2.
So I'll wait out the 24 hours and try again tomorrow evening.
