MyTools FTW! You can direct all calls from blocked numbers directly to voicemail.

When are Vodacom going to come up with something similar?

as i know, vodacom contract NO. does not display caller id, therefore all phone calls i get is coming with UNKNOWN
but if some hide his/her NO. it should show private no. insted of unknown.as i know, vodacom contract NO does not

If trees could scream would we be so cavalier about cutting them down. What if they screamed all the time for no reason?

See MyTools Discussion thread. If you can't find the solution there, that's the place to ask.

Anyone have a clue why this might be happening, what could somebody possibly gain from calling a number and disconnecting immediately? Couldn't hear something on the other side so it's almost as if it's automated?
Beware of sim swop fraud. See the thread about woman losing R800000.00 from bond account. Contact your provider.

I think 010 is a new code for Johannesburg, or VOIP. I know we had to add that range to our PABX last year to allow it to dial those numbers.

010 is Midrand, I have seen numbers from there in the 100-200 range for the first three digits.

Lots of strange numbers because of companies using VoIP.

I suspect it is call centres. I received calls and then it is quite on the otherside (if I don't know the number, I wait for someone else to speak). Then after 10 sec (exactly), it cuts out. So, one day I decided to shout in it and, surprise, call centre, selling cellphone contracts.
