I just want to say thank you again. Received the S7 Slim on Friday and I can finally see the use of a tablet. It's a nifty device and it's available from Cell C for only R99 p/m! (or it was when I checked on Friday).

So thank you Cell C and sajunky! You guys are awesome!

Bigger than a cellphone ( if you disregard the Note ofc ),smaller and easier to manipulate with 1 hand than a notebook/netbook

It's a good compliment to your tech arsenal, some might even replace their other devices. I wouldn't though

I agree with ginggs. Besides, Toshiba maunufactured tablets for over 10 years (maybe 15). Some models in Portege series with touch screen and rotating display, so it could cover keyboard and work as a tablet.

@Solicitude, ginggs is asking for review!

    Would be quite amazing.

Since Nokia sold out to Microsoft, my guess is the tablet they are working on will be Windows based.

There is the WeTab, which is based on MeeGo.

Future Android tablets should be able to run on standard Linux (starting from kernel 3.3).
