Slow loading and stuttering browser on MyBB

Something on MyBB is making pages load very slowly, and making my browser stutter while loading. I can't click links while it's busy loading etc. It's annoying to have to wait 5 seconds for each page load before I can do anything.

If I have to take a rough guess as to what's causing it I'd say maybe some advert is causing it.
