The yootoob issue does seem to be solved for now.
At least the war on the environment is going well.
Aargh! Back to the old play for a bit, buffering, play for a bit, buffering routine.
And this is with a Silver Surfer, connecting to a different base station.
It's clearly widespread - I'm in Jhb and the speeds have been appalling for days now.
My problem is only with video, see here.
Oh, that's strange...
errors AGAIN!!!

I get 100% connection here in Boston Bellville, but for at least the last year the speeds are always extremely slow that it is impossible to watch any video material - play for 2 seconds, then buffer for 5-10 seconds.
iBurst do not reply to emails.
Their technicians are unable to solve the problem.
The once super iBurst has now become an utter farce.
How anyone can still want to use them is beyond me.
I have now had it with them.
Still no reply to this thread from anyone at iBurst? Why are we not surprised.........
This Youtube video is under 20 minutes long, yet it took over 3 hours to buffer at 320p:

Sometimes I can play a video no problems, but usually I have to let it buffer abit. I still think some kind of bandwidth throttling or shaping is going about somewhere.
5seconds worth of YouTube takes 3 mins to load ...![]()
