but theres mountains and trees everywhere so my LOS isnt good at all, even tho theres a tower like 5km away, is there anyway i can still get on the WUG?

For the PE folks...

The PEWUG had it's AGM about 2 weeks ago and have a new committee who are committed to expand their member base. They are also busy designing a new website... http://www.pewifi.co.za/services/

There are already 5 sites in PE and the PEWUG is actively pursuing a few more.

Current sites:

LMH - Lovemore Heights (Running)
TCH - Theesecombe (Running)
WST - Westering (Running)
NTP - Newton Park (Running)
WAL - Walmer (Running)

The Bluewater Bay site is almost ready (maybe already fully functional by now). The idea is to use this site to relay the signal back towards Parsons Hill, Millard Grange, Richmond Hill, etc. as there is no LOS to these areas from the existing sites.

BTW: We did ask JAWUG for feedback, but they did not come back to us.

I must say I am quite disappointed in nobody from Jawug getting back to you for feedback.
