Florescent tubes Disposal

Hi Everybody

Could anybody please advise me, on how to dispose of florescent tubes?

I have heard it is illegal to throw it in a normal rubbish bin, and that the vapor kills our drinking water, or something like that.

look around at your local pick n pay, they have bins for it.

Dont do what I did - my mom had brought two in to be replaced, and we went to visit a sports store first. So she leaned them against the counter, and I accidentally knocked one over. It sounded like a gunshot going off, and there was nothing of the bulb left over, just fine powder.

Throw them like a rocket into a wall... It makes for a rather nice bang and an even better visual

go to the back of your office and use them as light sabres like they did in the 40 year old virgin
