You guys are obviously connected to overloaded base stations. This is not the cable issue that we all experienced during the last few weeks.

After waiting for over 4 years, Telkom have finally arrived to put ADSL into the complex I live in. Felt like rolling out a red carpet for them after struggling with iBurst for 4 years and having spent thousands on different antennas and boosters. Hopefully I won't receive emails 3 WEEKS after they were sent and I also won't have to phone clients to check if my email ever reached it's destination.

As for speeds, we won't even go down that road. It's quicker to deliver to a job to a client than to email it. I even have to ask clients to do big downloads for me and burn it to disc.

So thanks iBurst, thanks for NOTHING! Can't wait to kick you guys into touch. Can't wait!

    With Signal strength on 94%.

    Download 0.29Mb/s
    Upload 0.26Mb/s

Does this mean I can now only pay 29% of my bill? I were promised 1Mb/s

Neighbour has had it since 2009. Really good at first but since about May last year it is very slow and often stops for 30 seconds or so. Naturally iBurst blamed the modem, so got another, no better. His house is 350m from iBurst mast on top of a tall building

If you have a slow connection you need to experiment with position and orientation. If you have an external antennae move it a few metres (use a small wood working G clamp) If you use only a modem move it to the window and even try different positions and orientation within the window. Once you have found a spot use velcro to keep it in secure in that spot.
