I'm happy with my 1Meg line but 4 would be nice!!!

I live in the north-western part of Pretoria.

I have almost no problems with my 1meg ADSL line (MWeb uncapped service)

Telkom should increase the line speed to at least 4 meg in my area

1 Meg line in Houghton. The speed is good for and the stability is excellent.

I'll be happy to pay 580 odd for MWEB 4MB uncapped lines

I recently signed up for a 1mb ADSL connection at home from Telkom, but in the past two weeks that I have had the service, it has been down three times. When it is connected, the speeds are extremely poor. I'm lucky if I see 0,08mpbs download speeds. I'm considering cancelling the service, and "returning" to 3G.

The connection is very good. I have not had an issue with the connection since I started with 1Mbps last year.
Improvements: Not much that I can think of. Maybe reduce the price p/m a bit.

Uncapped 1Mb/s - so far, I'm extremely happy. For R800, I'm online all the time (pretty important for my work) and I've done about 30GB this month without hassles. Pings are always under 50ms, speed is constant throughout the day, and I max out at 108Kb/s downloading from international sites.

    In a word: beautiful.

I am satisfied with my 1Mb line. Price could always be reduced which would mean an upgrade to 4Mb or 10Mb which would be even better.

Speed is always good on my 1mb line with OpenWeb as my ISP. Thumbs up Telkom and OpenWeb

P.S Telkom drop the compulsory phone line rental and you will have a lot more happy customers.

My connection drops every 30 minutes. Telkom never bothered to send a technician in the last 4 months. Worst service ever. Cancelling my service at the end of April.

It would be cool if they can give me a support service where I don't have to wait for an hour, just to be redirected to another department because of their vague menu options. I also hope they fix my problems at the exchange (I live in Waverley, Pretoria). I asked them several times to check mu connection at the exchange, but to no avail
