Around The World in 5 Minutes

Kien Lam backpacked the world in a year. To prepare for the journey, the photographer brought alongside a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF-1, several wide-angle lenses and a flimsy tripod. He accumulated more than 10,000 timelapse shots during the 343 days he traveled to 17 countries on five continents. The end product is this amazing five-minute video.

Great to see local time lapse work ^^^ ... wonder how much his Shukuma dollies go for? Would love to have one (one day)

Anyway, love this guy's work ... time lapse + tilt shift simply rocks imo!


and yeah, Tom Lowe and Christoph Malin also produce awesome videos (especially since I find astronomy fascinating)
