Thread: Facebook DNS issues

    Default Facebook DNS issues

I see a few people commenting here there and elsewhere worldwide, just trying to work out who's affected or not. Could you check if facebook.com loads or not and list who your ISP is and where you are situated?

    My result:

    Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.facebook.com.

Check the address for typing errors such as
    ww.example.com instead of
    www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Our DNS servers talk directly to the root servers.

We are able to browse Facebook and connect to all the other sites that the main page calls.

At the moment, www.facebook.com is resolving to 69.171.229.13
