That's quite a nice incentive to get back in the game, but like alot of people have already mentioned....... it smells of desperation.
But still a nice incentive.

Education is when you read the fineprint. Experience is what you get if you don't.
Other than the social side, I haven't missed the game since I quit. I discovered BF3 (I always hated FPS games) and haven't looked back.
I am looking forward to GW2 though!
Sometimes I laugh so hard, the tears run down my leg
Yea stopped playing myself end of last year, my life has been to busy to miss it, but was great fun.
I stopped playing as well for quite a while, I only played for 2 months last year. I will be keen however to get a free 7 days and a free level 80 upgrade.
Like most people I will probably play MOP when it comes out for at least 2 months (1 game card).
People cannot gain anything without sacrificing something
You must present something of equal value to gain something.

If anyone wants a resurrection on EU I'd be happy to send one.
I won't say no to a free mount, even if it is a bit of a lame one.
Well I was one of the people that raided from Vanilla, and cleared everything at its respective tier level except Naxx at 60. Back then we only got to the 4 horsemen. It feels good and bad, to be out of the clutches of WoW, but there are times when I am bored and I miss just logging on talking crap with friends and trolling Orgrimar chat. I stopped last year November, and when I hear about changes in MoP coming... I can honestly say I don't see myself returning... I mean... WTF... warriors are getting an animation of doves spawning from their fists when they get a crit ??? Pokemon pet style fights ?
Looking back at WoW today vs what it was back in Vanilla, its no wonder they are loosing customers like crazy.
No matter how much people whine and claim WoW today is better than what it was back in the early days, the thing that made WoW players stick to the game was the tremendous effort involved if you wanted to be a cut above the rest. And yes the people that put the effort in, did not have just marginally better gear... you would be stupid to take on a character with Rank 14 High warlord gear + weapons, and I didn't despise them either... if you knew what it took to get there, you would have admiration for his dedication and commitment.
Believe it or not, I miss those days I had to camp out in silithus caves, waiting hours for that one crap type of insect to spawn so that I can kill it and hope for a carapace drop to get my nature resistance gear set up and running for Princess HuHu.
Being part of a team of players that were like minded... obsessed with squeezing every bit of DPS / HPS from their classes... even if it meant farming for stupidly hard enchants to give you the edge. Or farming months for rep to be exalted with Cenarion Circle to have access to that one leatherworking recipe that would allow you to craft uber rare resistance armor sets. Thats what it meant to be in a server first guild.
My only regret I have from old school wow, was that I never made rank 14 HWL. Giving people easy access to high level gear with minimal effort, eliminates the sense of accomplishment... you breed a "bad" player base.
No other game has managed to grip my attention for longer than a month after WoW... so I am hoping Titan will restore some of the classic MMO features that made WoW a success before they pulled Jeffrey Kaplan "Tigole" from the main development team. Since Ghostcrawler took over, it was slowly going down the toilet...

I quite again on 16th this month when gametime ended. Got bored of wow and blizzards excuses not to fix problems with loot system in LFR and other things.
Now I am looking forward to play diablo 3 and GW 2 and using sub money to get a new laptop. Its better than wasting on a fail game.
I'll probably consider WoW again once it's ported to iOS, I'll be removing it from my laptop for good now.
