Help with VOX router

Hi Guys

I have a Vox phone that I got from a friend. What I need to know is there a way to flas the device with a diff firmware so that I can use my own VOIP account with it. I dont have ADSL so its pointless in getting a VOX account

Is it a phone and router in one?
I also had one of these - I think it was a Thompson model of sorts. I eventually took out the batteries and popped it in the recycle bin.

From what I can find on google, yes it is a Thompson. Its a wireless phone and base station.

The model number on the back is TG790
