How to connect galxy s2 to wifi adhoc network

Hi Guys

How do I get my galaxy s2 to connect on wifi adhoc network ? I have setup the adhoc network on my laptop but when I scan for wifi networks(via Wi-FI Direct) on galxy s2 it finds none. I don't want to install connectify causes problems with my other devices which need to connect on the adhoc network.

Yeah guess I have to install connectify, which I have installed now....internet sharing doesn't work. I have shared it on my connection via wireless network. Does 8ta allow their internet to be shared?

Connectify is crap... what they don't tell you is that it creates an ad-hoc network as well (hardware dependent but most common).
