Should we keep the reputation system on MyBroadband?

Hi folks

We have run the reputation system for a few weeks, and it is time for you to tell us whether we should keep it or not.

Can you please vote in the poll in this thread.
 
If it stays as is, no.

It's completely pointless, and serves no purpose at all.

If posts can be publicly lauded in some manner, then I am totally for it.

I voted no, but I must say, I don't mind it being here, it's not doing any harm, and if there are people who want to keep it, I don't have the slightest issue with it.
 
+1 to copa above. If the 3rd-party plug-ins allowing everyone to see which posts were rep'd are unworkable, as I think I recall rpm saying, the whole thing might as well be deep-sixed. Utterly pointless in its current incarnation.
 
Don't particularly care for it as it is not being used properly.

An option to appraise individual posts will be better.

I don't care for it, voted no. But giving thanks on a post is what I would be inclined to go with, as I've mentioned before.

You can display your avatar once you can have one ;)

look bottom left of the forum just above the "black bar" there is an option for different forum views it allows you to chose to display people's avatars or not...

I have mine set to dark themes ....

I did set it before the last forum upgrade.


hmmmm

I wonder if the upgrade broke that option.....

Otherwise go you your User CP

select general settings

& towards the bottom look for:
Miscellaneous Options

there is an option there & does seem to be available..

What's the point of that?

not voting does not give constructive feedback.

Doing that is kinda like not voting in the elections & then whining coz the ANC wins....
