Potentially more on topic. I find it interesting that the usual outspoken christian debaters on the forums are quite absent. I would be interested to find out whether they believe that this guy is telling the truth or not.
If he cannot be believed, then I would love to know what the difference is between the strength of his "proof", and the strength of the burning bush story's proof. Or similar stories from the bible.

That's been my point all along - if somebody makes a bold claim today then it's written off as nonsense, but it's perfectly reasonable to believe the ramblings of a cave-dweller.

There is a certain bush that burst into flames to reproduce called Dictamnus albus http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dictamnus now whether it speaks is another story but I reckon it could have made a "squealing" type of noise when it burned.
