We put Lenovo’s latest bargain-level general purpose laptop through its paces
Have an i5 Lenovo at work and a i3 entry level Lenovo at home. Very happy with the performance and especially the performance of the battery. Will definitely recommend Lenovo.
Boy, I would love that laptop. It's gorgeous. Sigh.

Why do all laptops seem to have the touchpad increasingly offset to the left? The opposite seems more intuitive, or in the middle atleast. That way you can type and touch using both hands without interference.
I have the i5 model.
To me it's important that a laptop be silent - very silent. I find the CPU fan disturbing. The thermal management goes a long way to achieve this.
One thing I don't like - the front edge is rather sharp. When working on it for a couple of hours my wrists start feeling it. I suppose I need to add that i use it more in the 'belly' position than the 'lap' position.
Not sure I would class the Z570 as an entry-level notebook. It falls in more to
the midrange.
Entry-Level - Anything less than R5999
Midrange - R5999 Upwards
High-End - R9999 Upwards
Beast!- R13999 Upwards (Alienware Territory)

With i5 and dedicated graphics GT525M (or 520M?) and overall quality, it is actually upper midrange. R8000 estimated, similar was R5999 on trade-in special.
