Ja, ja, ja. These Pentecostal/Evangelical types are all about giving. You don't need to pay because if you're there it's because you believe and if you believe a large part of what you believe is you need to give to receive.
To be fair most Christian churches are just big scams. The Catholic Church which is the biggest scam. The Pope and cardinals and probably bishops too all live like royalty - literally. In palaces, with servants and assistants and chefs and frikken salmon every other night.
I pretty much guarentee every preacher you see on TBN is a millionaire or intends to be. Almost every pastor who claims to be a healer is in it for the money whether they admit it to themselves or not. If they don't I can pretty much guarantee they still make more money than any of us.
It's just to easy. Pitch a tent somewhere, a bit of marketing, sell the salvation and before you know it you're building a ginormous church pulling the suckers and their wallets by the thousands.
A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.

Obi Wan Kenobi's response to River Ministries "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious."
I have friends who've worked for River corp. Not a very pleasant place.
Ek smaak tele-evangelists soos ek jam smaak...en ek smaak jam F0KK0L !

It is my understanding that "tongues" was historically a "celestial translation app" allowing apostles and evangelists to preach to foreignsuckerscongregations.
To wit, "Tongues" would be me preaching in Russian, to Russians, without any knowledge of the language.
The gibberish spouted in some of these places is either personal attention seeking, tourettes, or a show for the marks.
