Apple Mac smtp issue on Neomail.co.za.

Hi there.

Has anyone got some advice for me please. I am setting up an email account for a client on Office for Mac but can't get the outgoing mail to work. If I load the account on a Windows pc it works fine. I can telnet the server from the Mac as well but it times out if I send a message saying that the server is down or traffic is to heavy.

My wife has a Mac and when we had a Neoflex account, the call centre agent and techie said it didnt work with Macs and they didnt know why. Maybe something to do with the ports being used ?

Thank you MDE. Looks like they want to put their heads under the ground and hope the problem goes away
