I expected people to start vandalising Telkom equipment after they switched to SNOT ADSL, not before.
Thats why I think that its Telkom employees that are doing this.
Probably yes. But hey, at least they arent sitting around on their butts all day anymoreOriginally Posted by Mouse

Wow. Now just imagine. if they actually fixed or did maintenance on so many boxes instead of burning em to the ground it would have been a telkom record for most work done there
But on a serious note. Who of you havent ever looked at a telkom box and thought bout pouring a can of petrol over it and setting it alight?
Hell i've a lot of ppl walk past the box and actually spit on it....first time thought it was just ewwww. then noticed more an more of ppl doing it.
btw i live in an apartment building an the box is like right in my view.....think it might have dropped it's market value.
I would have a close look at the strikers to see whos doing this. if the person who is doing this, email some pics to anon@antitrust.co.za![]()

I wonder why...Telkom's chief technical officer Thami Msimango yesterday said that the nature of the damage pointed to "deliberate vandalism on an orchestrated basis".
Sounds like thermite. Yippee. Look for someone with technical knowledge.Letlape said that since Sunday 65 SDCs had been damaged, mainly through deliberate cutting off of connection points and incineration of entire units.
Narrow down the search a bit, dont go looking in Proes St, nothing there.Originally Posted by Prometheus
