    the s3 is nice
    it has a bigger battery because the screen is bigger also it will use more power
    both are excellent fones , pity the htc one x is plagued by all these issues
    i want to wait for the one x that have the wifi issue fixed,but lets see by the 9th july when i can upgrade.
    if htc or mtn cant tell me if they have the new ones, then maybe i'l just go s3

    Mtn had white ones when I exchanged but the system would not allow them to replace with a white phone.
    The main reason I wanted it was because it had a serial number staying with 25... Where all the grey models started with 24...

    I may not even have had a faulty one initially.
    I was using my desire hd as a hotspot and had weak signal with the ice child sandwich Rom. I noticed that this phone had the dame signal issues, but after I flashed miui on the DHD the signal has been much better.
    I was rather going to be safe than sorry though. Will take this one to a friend's place to test properly.

    The CF on the RAZR is nice but the rest is just "ok". Specs wise it's a bit behind the S3/OneX but at least that reflects in the price. I dunno, just nothing exciting enough that I want to get a 6 month old phone and be locked in 2 year contract I guess.

    25f mmm manufactured early to mid May (5 denotes month)... nope we want 26I (that's the earliest the fix was implemented) or after that, would be the one you want...I'm gonna wait for a 27XX (July) model to be sure...

    Every other week I want to upgrade to a new phone (Current Phone HTC Wilfire). But then I realize there's no point. All my favorite apps (apps that I actually use) works great on this phone. The only stuff that doesn't work are Games... So I think I can still survive another 6-8 month before upgrading

    Sorry for only reading this now.

    I just went back with the phone and all the accessories. I reset the phone back to factory default settings. I live in P.E. so just took it where I bought it from.

    They tried to give me *** with cancelling the contract. I told them it's a known issue, HTC has gone on record stating it's an issue, and that it was an OBF. Told them they need to be prepared because smart people will be coming back with the same problems.

    They didn't do any tests themselves, as I reset the phone, it looked like I had never actually used the phone :P (Goes through the whole setup wizard etc)

    Then they tried to convince me to take another contract, said no thanks.

    I would of just cancelled the contract and told them that you'd be back in 3 months time.. Because you are going to have problems with them later down the line when your WiFi starts acting up.

    We'll not sure but I am getting better reception than with my Legend so all good for now. Pushing the phone doesn't seem to do much. I might experience the problem later but fine now.... Just couldn't wait any longer and still have my Legend if need to repair as worst case. Been playing for a day and loving it... Very happy

    Anyone know where I can buy a white cover? Expansys sell the Black/Grey one, but I'm looking for a white one:



    Would just like to add that I have a HT23Z model, wifi works perfectly (confirmed with Wifi Analyser and my old HTC Desire in the same spot, connected to the same SSID)
