Plex Media Manager, the PMS server's web inf. If on Windows just double click Plex tray icon, or from another device http://[PMS-IP]:32400/manage/index.html

Edit: Also if you want your media to be quickly/accurately matched and have correct metadata download, read through the naming guide ... http://wiki.plexapp.com/index.php/Pl...S_Naming_Guide

What is the version that you're using on the player?

I've got the server, selected the folders, iPad sees and works perfectly - but the BR can't detect?

iPad (& Win/OSX clients) can discover PMS server automatically using Bonjour, but the Samsung client doesn't support this protocol. You must manually configure PMS server's IP in Preferences.

I did ... I made it exactly what the iPad see's.

When I make it that address, I don't get a 'Cannot Connect Error' - but rather I see 'Preference' and 'Quit' all over the screen. If I make it anything else, it says 'Cannot Connect' ... so it seems it does see it.

    What is Plex Laika?
    How did you install yours?

Here's my exact problem ... with screen shots :P

Now I do have music and movies in my library section - but I need to wait until they're fully complete? The iPad can see the media as it's being added

No I have Movies, TV Shows, Photos, Music, Music Videos sections. The Samsung client just ignores (doesn't show/support) the Music and Photos sections, the other 3 do show/work on my D6000 TV.

I suspect you have some other type of network connectivity issues .... can you ping the BD player from the PMS server (steady & fast, ±1ms latency & no loss)? If you connect a PC on the TV's Ethernet cable, can you access http://[PMS-IP]:32400/manage/index.html (all access/streaming happens through tcp port 32400).

    Bingo.

    Got it working :P

The two that it ignores are the two I added first. Now that I use TV Shows, I see the folder

    Thanks again Roman!

EDIT : So what do you do with your music? Can you rename TV shows to any other folder name? Subfolders?

You'll have to use DLNA for photos & music on a Samsung device (i.e. icons in Smarthub), for now the Plex client is video content only. The developer has indicated its on his todo list, so not sure when.

This is why I run Serviio (together with Plex) on my home server. Was hoping to consolidate this with the new PMS beta, but the DLNA still needs lots of work. Serviio works flawlessly with Samsung embedded media players.

Sure, when you add it you can change the name to say Series, and add multiple source directories (all subdirs will also be scanned). You can even add multiple sections of the same type (e.g. His Series, Her Series) with different source directories.

Thanks Roman ... one last thing ... is there any format that needs to go within each folder?

I point at a folder with my Big Bang Theory which is 20 episodes of a mixture of MKV, AVI, different codecs etc - will it add all 20?

EDIT : It picks up 3 ... just tried

Not from my experience, ext/codec can be mixed as long as naming/numbering is common (as per the naming guide). Also can take a bit of time to match all & download metadata (depending on your Internet connection).

Edit: If you're picking up any matching funnies, you can always right click on the TV Show/Movie and select 'Fix Incorrect Match ...'
