Wow that's a fairly impressive collection. I want to get a few new ones myself. Looking for a Fire Leg, Green bottle blue, Venezuelan suntiger and Socotra Island Blue Baboon...
Really becomes addictive
EDIT: note that when I call your collection "fairly impressive" its just my own jealousy that prevents me from saying how awesome such a huge collection must be(seeing that I only have one ATM)
May the wors be with you
lol, 90% of my collection are still slings. There are still a few that I am looking for tho, one being the M. balfouri (Socotra Island blue baboon) and another being E. cyanognathus (Blue Fang). Both have been bred recently so its just a matter of time.
That said, my collection is small. Some of the people I have come into contact with have hundreds of spiders. On breeder I visited has thousands!

Most of the guys are online, The shipping is not too much of an issue. I have ordered quite alot of my stuff online from various places and the spiders have always been fine. The little versicolor I got in the mail last month just molted.
Some nice spiders here : http://tarantulas.co.za/shop/tarantu...s/4-tarantulas or here too, www.tarantulacafe.co.za, otherwise you can find some awesome breeders and sellers here http://tarantulas.co.za/forum/breedersellerpetshop.
There is also a shop in Birchleigh, kempton park if you prefer to have a walk in experience. Just remember that having an actual shop is a large expense so the spiders will always be a little more expensive.

Few questions:
do you keep them separately when they're so small?
how long do they take to grow full size?
There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.
Yea, 90% of all your spiders you keep separate otherwise they will eat each other. There are quite a few communal spiders too, the M. balfouri being one of them. You can keep a whole lot of these guys together and they wont eat each other.
They grow at different speeds mostly. It can be between 3 and 5 years. Sometimes longer. The males will not live for too much longer after they reach maturity, between 6 and 18 months. The females on average can live for another 10 to 15 years.
Those are just ballpark numbers, it changes wildly from species to species.
