Those are nice contemporary images. Are those paintings or screenprinted images? Because if they're printed you could've propably found similar images online and have them printed for far less.

Hey people...

I recently returned from Argentina and I brought back some art. I liked them as soon as I saw them.

A friend of mine saw them and said they were crappy.
What do you people think?

Nice souvenirs, but I would give them a black frame with glossy glass in front.

Art is subjective, so if you like them it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks.

Regarding the pictures, not really my style, but as I say, that shouldn't matter to you.

If you bought them as an investment and Andy Warhol hasn't signed them, then you've been had.
If you bought them for a reasonable price that you were prepared to pay, then you've done well. For me, personally, art is there to enhance the room mostly. Sometimes it's about an emotion that a picture evokes, and sometimes it's about a name (very rarely in my case).

I bought one of the many fake / doctored Fr Claerhouts, but I'm happy with it cos I wanted the picture in my house. Finish and claerhout.

I didn't mean as an art expert, but rather what jumped into my head. The white parts in OP look similar to the people in banksy's work (style).
