2mb Wireless desktop modem To D-link wireless N300 Router

So here is the problem
I have been trying in vain to get it to work

I have spent more than 4 hours on the phone with Iburst :mad:
Each consultant hands me over to the next one an my emails go un answered

I have tried the launch cd ---Fail— :mad:
I have tried doing all the setting by logging into the router – Fail –:mad:

How Iburst not know the settings needed to connect Their modem to a router ? :mad:

All I want is wi fi is that too much to ask ?

Please help me any and all assistance will help someone on this site must have had more success ?

What settings do I need ?
 
What is the model number of the D-Link router?
Did you get it from iBurst?
 
Basic config settings for routers to use with iburst:
Connection type: Cable
Authentication required: yes
Username: iBurst username
Password: iBurst password

Connect the LAN port from the iBurst desktop modem to the WAN port on the router
 
Ok this might sound dumb as hell

But the Ethernet cable from the pc to the router ,should be the same as the cable from the router ,to the desk top modem ?

The reason I asked I did a test with the cables last night
When I used the normal Ethernet cable from the pc to the modem there was signal

But when I took the cable that I got with the router from the pc to the modem NO SIGNAL !

Could this be the cause ? maybe a faulty cable ?

Do iburst sell those cables separately that you get with the desktop modem ?

What do you guys think ?
